Each week, as part of your participation, you are being asked to post at least one item here related to a news item, piece of new knowledge, or "aha" bit of awareness that you found during the week as part of your readings for class.
We'd like you to subscribe to either a Blog, RSS feed, or listserv in an area of knowledge interest to you --related to class-- so that you will begin to get used to "staying current" and increasing your own awareness and knowledge bank, if you aren't already doing this.
How -- you ask?? There are a number of ways to find information about blogs and/or listservs and feeds -- try a Google search with -- blog SUBJECT-- as your search -- such as blog education or blog international culture -- there are also listings on Google for blog subject areas or you might also try technorati.com/ or www.blogger.com.
Here's a list of the Top 100 RSS feeds that are subscribed to: radio.xmlstoragesystem.com/rcsPublic/rssHotlist
You may also want to search delicious for terms of interest -- or look through some of the urls listed for class -- many of those offer RSS feeds. We'll talk about these in your class, but we wanted to give you plenty of opportunities to get started if you're eager!
