Holocaust

I actually found a very good holocaust.gov website. It is the Knesset website which is the Israeli parliament official government website of the Jewish people. They have to sites one in English and one in Jewish. Both websites are authentic and I verified them by searching the sites and found the Israeli seal, phone numbers, addresses and other websites that referred me back to this one. I think that it is a wonderful site. It gives a great overview of the history of the holocaust, the martyrs and heroes, denial of the holocaust (prohibition) law, and links to other related holocaust websites. Since I have visited the museum, everything that I read comes together more easily for me. Knowing the history first, then reviewing websites makes the information that I have learned fit. Before I had visited this museum, I had very little knowledge of the holocaust. Of course, everyone knows that millions of Jews were killed during this time but the in depth information that the museum gave made it more real. As an African American woman, I can feel so much empathy and almost relate to what they went through because of what my ancestors experienced themselves. This first site is in English http://www.knesset.gov.il/shoah/eng/eshoah.htm
And this second one is the Jewish site.
www.knesset.gov.il.
