RSS Feeds
I am currently following three RSS feeds; NPR news, NPR law and CNN technology. This is the first time I have used RSS feeds and I must say that I regularly find valuable information on all three feeds. According to a recent CNN technology feed, I learned that about 20% of all malicious internet activity in the world originates in the U.S. In another feed I learned that facebook is testing a new panic button. This has been a great way to keep up with current events by following NPR as well. In addition, I really like that the feeds do not crowd up my inbox. The easy access on Google reader is a great way to keep up with your feeds. I will certainly continue to follow feeds well beyond this course.
