Yahoo is Revamping its Website
I would like to first start off by saying the book EIM did not tickle my fancy; like several others I felt this book could have been summed up in maybe 100 pages or less. My interest in knowing how everything has its place in the world really didn't hold my attention; well maybe some section when the author discussed how Crate and Barrel's online catalog has 50 types of place settings. What I did find interesting unlike the Dewey Decimal System which they say has order it seems like everything that is on the Internet is just sporadically thrown about. When ask to find an RSS feed related to EIM I found that task to be a little difficult not knowing how would I find something related to this; suddenly I came across an article in my yahoo rss feed related to EIM; the title read "Yahoo Refreshes Sites Products" wow I said, this brings together what the author discussed regarding how "the digital age, computers have become demonically good at sorting through gigantic, complex piles of information" pg 85 Yahoo executives have prompted a three year vision to revamp there website making it easier to manipulate ones email and the site in general.
